Shipping mood happens and it's okay! I really like these two, they are adorable. They are some of your characters that I instantly recognize though now that I think of it I'm not sure if they come from the same story as Diamon...
I sort of intentionally avoid actively drawing something with pairings mostly because I don't want readers to see some characters as a couple before I even get to introduce them in comics! But I sometimes get a big kick out of drawing families, since there is no spoiler there and I still get to draw mushy stuff. But it kind of works the same way, I go from drawing warm/silly home scenes to switching into "cop mode" where I draw people sadly staring at something or saying mean stuff or punching someone. Wait, I don't draw people punching someone enough, I should practice that, even though it's not quite how modern police rolls (Nutter is just old-fashioned).
