Galka

I once had a paparazzi challenge. I made this character for it quite soon but she had to wait a while for a name and a proper picture But here she is - Gałka (pronounced like this www.ivona.com/pl/?tk=tmrVWKdEz… so wasn't sure how to transcribe it)

She is a character completely independent from all my Demonade and stuff creations, although she might follow some of the "celebrities" among my other characters I want to equip her with more s-f stuff, too.

A persistent space paparazzi hunter with a love for gadgets, Galka enjoys her job, although she originally wanted to be a psychologist and still tries to psychoanalyse the people she stalks from time to time (and convince them they do have problems with themselves!). She's left-handed (I drew the camera-gun on the right because it's the side we can see here xD) and the worm-like hair is actually alive and sometimes gets ideas of its own, getting Galka into trouble... but she is good at getting into trouble herself, or with a little help of her teenage daughter.

She would like to visit and work outside of her own galaxy,but hasn't gathered the courage to yet, taking her spacetruck to the nearby planets mostly.


Before making the character I set myself the goal of making a character unlike most of those I have already. So I made:

- a woman (I have/used to have more male characters, and they were also better developped)
- a s-f feel to her (I only make fantasy/almost "normal life" characters)
- fat (I do have some overweight ones, but the fatter ones are usually side characters)
- a character independent from my comic(s) so I can have any crossover/development fun with her I want
- a lesbian - I have none and I would really like to draw some woman-woman romance as well (yes, I remember I wrote that she has a daughter - and I'm taking care of all facts making sense together)
- a bit different style of drawing maybe (the eyes here)
- aaand I wanted to base her on some countries' culture but that failed, at least for now (I'm really dumb in stuff like that)


Anyway, I hope I will make some fun stuff with her surely she's gonna stalk the other characters in roleplays XD Or maybe YOUR characters as well?
